The first time Evans met Dodger was while he was filming the final scene for the film Gifted at an animal shelter in April 2017. As far as Evans was concerned, the dogs were not up for adoption, but actors. But It was as soon as he realized they were rescued dogs and saw Dodger that he knew Dodger would be coming home with his new dad. It’s clear to us that this was love at first sight.
In fact, our Captain America Evans joined Instagram only in 2020 to share photos and videos of his beloved pooch, much to the delight of his millions of fans.
